Challenge #6: Always Smitten...Forever

So I have been trying clean my scrapbook room (a never ending project) & yes I did make some progress. I have not scrapbooked in close to 3 months (busy with the holidays, working at Christian's Pre-k & 2 sick kiddo's) & I have really missed it! I have been really in the mood lately to do a Love/Valentines layout & this is what I came up with.





So I thought I would turn it into a little challenge for all of you. You need to complete a Love or Valentines theme layout but, that is not the challenging part. I want to see you come up with some differnt color combinatins hince the CREME BRULEE background color I used in my layout. I want to see more than just red/black or pink/brown. Do something different. As long as it is about Love or Valentines it counts. If you are wondering if I have a prize, YES I do & lets just say it will be LOVELY! You need to have your layout completed & sent back to me by February 14, 2011at midnight.

I' M BACK.........

Hi Everyone! I have been out of the state for almost 2 weeks visiting family in Michigan. I am back now & I have a ton of pic.'s to post, stories to tell, things to share, ect.. I will be getting out the prize to our latest winner Lauren (something BOOLICIOUS)! I will also post pic.'s of my project that I got done, but never got posted.
I am also getting together the prizes for our upcoming fundraiser/bra challenge & I will be posting pic.'s of the items as they come in. I am sad to share with all of you that Tisha lost her battle with Leukemia this morning (Thursday) at 12:45 a.m. . Tisha was a wife, mother, sister, friend & so much more. She is in a better place now & out of pain. We are not giving up the fight in helping raise awareness of this horrible disease, so the FIGHT will still go on. You are probably wondering what made me choose to decorate bras when Tisha was not battling Breast Cancer. I actually got the idea from a scrapbook store & I thought to my self Tisha liked to do the Race For The Cure Run every October to help stomp out cancer & I also thought about how her & I both LOVE Marilyn Monroe. So I thought it would make a fun happy twist to things that are all too sad right now & for a long time to come. I wanted to put a smile on all our faces the way Tisha did for us. If you have any info (pictures, stories, memories, etc.) you would like to share about Tisha please feel free to contact me so that I can post it to the blog it for you.
